This is a personal opionion on Diamond Back Gun Safes. Knowing how
safes are
made and who makes them is important to me and I am sure it is to
you. Right now
in the Gun Safe Manufacturing industry there is a lot of compition
to make a cheaper
safe. Regardless of quality. However, every once in a great while
a manufacturer
comes out with a truely great product at great price.
I believe Diamond Back Gun Safes have done it in the new "H"
series. When I take a
look at the safe from start to finish, I am really impressed. You
can read the details
above under the "H" series heading. But what you don't
read in the details is the
over all package.
Most gun collectors will never have a burglar or fire attack their
safe. They will
depend on their safe day in and day out. Many will have their safe
for a lifetime.
Or until the hinges on the door wear out or the lock quits working.
Which brings me to
the hinges on the new "H" series.
They have redesigned them to be like bank vault hinges. Which are
really made to
last. Couple this with the American made S&G lock and you have
a safe that is
designed to pass down to the grandkids!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking any of the other manufacturers
out there. But,
if I were going to buy a gun safe today. It would be out of the
Diamond Back "H"
series. I truely believe they are the best safe for the dollar today.
