Safes: It is important to remember that wall safes get most
of their security from being hidden. Most wall safes are attached
to wall studs. If you want added protection to your wall safe, it
is worth considering having it concreted in place. This will help
in case of discovery by undesirables. All our wall safes are designed
for easy installation with wide flanges to cover sheet rock cuts
eliminating the need for replastering.
One other note, you will find with the easy to install wall safes
no fireproof material. This is because the typical space where a
wall safe goes is too thin. Standard wall is made with only 4 inches
in depth. If you were to add 1 inch of fire material to the front
door and 1 inch to the back of the wall safe, you would not have
much space to store anything.
